Witch

Witches are powerful magicians that dwell in and control liminality (i.e. the threshold)
Liminality is the quality of ambiguity or disorientation that occurs in the transition between two other locations, or states of being.
A liminal space is the time between the ‘what was’ and the ‘next.’ It is the places of transition, a season of waiting, and not knowing. These thresholds of waiting and not knowing the ‘next’ are inevitable and mostly incredibly disruptive. Witches use and manipulate these spaces for power, knowledge and control.
Witches control the liminal veil, the place where transition occurs between the threshold and the place that waits. Witches control where the universe is made up of sacred spaces and profane spaces. Profane spaces are places where existence forces beings to dwell and live. Sacred spaces are places where transformation takes place; where beings encounter the universe and each other to come to a deeper understanding of existence and themselves.
Liminality is intrinsically linked to existentialism and existential crisis. Witches thrive in the deepest understanding of what is, what was and what will be.
