Garden of the Sun

The Garden of the Sun is a mythical location described in the legendarium of the Heavenly Council. It is described as "where the waters run coolest during the heat of the day and the game runs wild and free." It was here that Uriah, the Sun Radiant, showed it love to the young Princess Salama of Temekan through the three trials. With the third trial, the Sun Radiant proved himself to be a true god of the Heavenly Council and unintentionally vaporized the Princess's camp followers with his divine visage. The Princess's father, the Pharaoh Tiakken, found his daughter and was shamed by her actions and exiled her from Temekan. It was from the Garden of the Sun that the Princess fled atop the back of the Golden Almiraj Rehu to the place of Ilusukon, the original cliffs that would one day become the city of Iskendra.

Geography

Precious little is known about the actual geography of the Garden of the Sun apart from the fact that it had water that ran cool during the day and that it was filled with abundant game. Some believe this points to the Garden of the Sun being the Tsewa Oasis. At Tsewa, the largest of the oases pools is indeed cold during the day and pleasingly warm at night. It is also home to the Oracle of Atura, the oldest temple to Uriah in Holos. However, beyond the similarities in nomenclature, there is little physical evidence to link the actual oasis of Tsewa to the mythical Garden of the Sun itself.
