Takuroa
The Ocean Titan (a.k.a. Taku)
Takuroa is a one of the four Prime Titans and the Primordial deity associated with the Element of Water. He is connected to the tides, waves, merfolk, sea creatures, the ocean and the Plane of Water. Takuroa is known and revered by more mortals than the other Prime Titans because of his relationship in mythology to one of the gods of the Heavenly Council, Lacorré.

Takuroa is the titan of the waters, the sea, sea life, the merfolk, water genasi, marids, and the Plane of Water. He is associated with flexibility, change, and creativity. His divine domain is that of the Element of Water.
Divine Symbols & Sigils
Takuroa's divine symbol is a series of three crashing waves at sunset. His sacred colors are cerulean blue and sunset gold.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Like the other Primordials, Takuroa is as much a being of raw elemental energy than he is a being incarnate. He is often depicted as a crashing wave or, if in a physical depiction, as a large, smooth-skinned humanoid with the lower body of a orca or other cetacean. He has a long white tail of sea-foam hair and the blue lips of a drowned man.

Personal history
After the War of the Titans, the Gods of the Heavenly Council made an accord with the Primordial Elemental Titans. The Gods decided to seal their pact with a marriage between the eldest of the Titans, Takuroa, with the eldest of the Gods, Rashi. It seemed a good match—for Takuroa was the ruler of the seas and the tides and the oceans, and Rashi was the ruler of the wind and the rain and the freshwaters. But during the great feast between the two parties, the Takuroa caught a glimpse of the loveliest of the Gods, Lacorré and fell deeply in love with her.
Between the meals, Takuroa called Lacorré outside to where the Celestial Mountains met the Plane of Water and tried to show how much he cared for her. He created the dolphins and whales of the world—gentle creatures that were similar in shape to her favorite creatures, the sharks. Lacorré was smitten, though some say she was more interested in spiting her sister than actually marrying with the Titan. She asked her father if she, not Rashi, would be a better fit for Takuroa. But Uriah forbid it, and sent her away to marry the Gilded Crafter God, Zwakhasis. Takuroa was married to Rashi, but theirs was a loveless union, and they fought night and day with storm and sea spray.
Finally, after much trickery, Lacorré found Takuroa fighting with his new wife in the sea. She reminded the Titan of his promises to her and they eloped to Takuroa's realm beneath the waves. They knew that Uriah could do nothing to stop them, for his power fades beneath the waters. But Telerashi, bitter over being rebuked continued to quarrel with them. The Tempest’s Fury still unleashes her wind and rain on the seas but Takuroa protects Lacorré beneath the waves in their underwater Coral Castle. To this day, Lacorré lives only in the Coral Castle beneath the Plane of Water, and only goes to face the other gods each Moon's Eve.
Gender Identity
Takuroa is really only revered as a god by the merfolk as can be seen by the discrepancies found in his terrestrial theology. While some claim as the merfolk do that he is a male deity others say he is actually a full female deity, as dolphins are of a woman’s make. But others contend that Takuroa is neither and some even claim they are both at once.

Contacts & Relations
Kahré, the Abyssal One, is Takuroa’s greatest foe and Takuroa’s coexistence with the Heavenly Council is largely thanks to his checking of Kahré’s power.
In addition to battling Kahré, Takuroa despises Mahu'ika, the Fire Titan, who rules over the Plane of Fire.
