Becoming an Heir
Becoming a part of the Heirs' ranks is a privilege reserved for only the most exceptional individuals. To be considered for the role of an heir, one must first undergo a rigorous selection process that assesses their qualities, skills, and motivations.
Once a person is deemed worthy to become an heir, they must first serve as a Centurion, dedicating their first 100 years to the order without questioning motives or decisions. During this period, Centurions work for the Heirs at all times, often undertaking shady tasks and proving their worth to the organization.
Once their 100-year service as a Centurion is complete, the individual becomes a free heir, and they have the option to continue to work with the organization or to pursue their own interests and passions. However, even as free Heirs, they must still abide by the strict rules and regulations enforced by the Heirs, which ensure the organization's secrecy, continued influence and power in the world of Honarth.
