3) Into the Shadows
General Summary
The Blackberry Interrogation:
As Sabo holds down a young, gangly Goblin, Echo holds the tip of her shortsword to his throat and demands to know why he attacked them... The startled and barley conscious Goblin deny's having any part in the attack on them and attempts to explain that he is the runt of the group and merely carry's out foraging duties. Echo then frisks his pockets and finds a crudely drawn image of a goblin woman (his mother) and decides to pocket it for herself. They continue to interrogate the Goblin and occasionally beat him, eventually learning of their hide out nearby referred to as Cragmaw Cave.
While this is happening, Mebarak notices an odd leathery chilly pepper shaped bulb that has a metallic feeling at one end. He attempts to identify it but can only attain that it is not a natural plant but rather a supernatural one possibly of the Fey, so he collects it for further identification.
After tieing the Goblin to Echo's body they force him to lead them to the Cragmaw Cave but their is a brief pause as they party suddenly realise that they never took the time to ask the Goblin name. He identifies himself begrudgingly as Snott.
A Change of Heart in the Brambles:
As the party make their way down a hidden path through the brambles, Snott tells Echo of his wish to get revenge on the other Cragmaw Goblins. Sabo attempts to stealth through the brambles, but gets all cut up as they are brambles.
