Chapter 2: The Eighth

Due to the ever-growing tensions within the Anthropos Empire. The militaries of the member states are demanding even more food, the problem with this is that there was a bad crop yield the year previous and thus has caused some uneasy relations between the states military’s and the people. Aware of the ever-growing population of the Empire, his Holiness the God Emperor had put a bounty on finding a safe passage through the Oighreach Mountains. Edmund Garrett a lowly adventurer and wanderer discovered the Trolltunga Pass, and ever since there has been incursions by the Empire into the Oighreach Valley funded by his Holiness with orders to create a stable and defended settlement within the once unsettled Valley. Thus far a number of farmsteads have been constructed as well as the beginnings of its first village Barton. Presided over by Lord DeOldford.
The empire however is not the only presence within Oighreach Valley. Aside from patrols by scouts and rangers from the Feywood Confederation as well as the indigenous ‘Fey Folk’, it is believed that the Chaos Union may have also discovered a passage through the Anord Mountains as bands of ‘Spawni Greenskins‘ (Orcs and Goblins) have been sighted on occasion to the southwest of Barton village.
