Rock Rush
Rock Rush is a very old hooman party game, typically played at younglin birthday parties. Its origins are unclear due to having been from Homeworld, though it is theorised that it was meant to encourage younglins to team up and tear down threats.
The original objects to be collected by the younglins were rocks, but on Nasgovia, it has become popular to use hard sweets, like gobstoppers or rock candy instead.
Rules:
How to play:
The Chased (usually a teen or adult hooman) hides the rocks/sweets into a large container to carry around. All the younglins then begin to run after the Chased, doing what they can to retrieve as many as possible. This includes hitting the Chased with foam bats, climbing on them, grabbing at their feet, trying to trip them, etc. The game finishes when all the rocks or sweets are taken, or if the Chased gives up (and then gets swarmed by screaming younglins). How to win:
The winner of the game is the younglin that has the most rocks/sweets. Younglins who steal from others as disqualified from being a winner.
No. of players in field:
- As many younglins that want to play.
- 1 Chased for every 10 younglins
- Foam bats (recommended)
- A holding helmet/mask/bag
- Candy and/or rocks.
