SE06 : EP14 -Loose Tales

A series of Vignettes
Scene 1 - Daphix finds himself tossing scoops of seafood chum to the meat-eating plant that sits on the borders of his property. The other owner Lord Pryce arrives sipping tes dressing in a fine robe and slippers. They discuss the plant itself as well as their duties to the city. They agree they should mutually build a fence around the bush. Pryce notices that the brush used a vine to pull one of their slippers through the chum and into itself. Tine-like teeth stretch out from under the leaves and engulf the footwear. Finishing their tea, Pryuce sighs. 
Scene 2 - A the Lord Daphix'd manor Brumhilde requests his lordship speak with Merit about her plant. Patches II has grown in size over the last few days, and its roots burst out from its planter. Speaking to the plant, it speaks in bursts of anxious mutterings. Its life as an abused laboratory plant has led to a sweaty and acidic personality. Merit keeps asking questions about what it's saying in her own paranoid and excitable way. At the plant's request, they relocate Patches II outside in one of the gardens behind the manor under a trellis. He mentions it's full of planter boxes with poisonous plants, be careful. 
Scene 3 - Near the Druid grove Kayla sits under the shade of a massive oak reading. Daphix wanders up and invites her into the grove. She agrees to enter, and he demises the guardian trees that part ways and clear a small passage through the fog. He explains the strange ways the forest grows wilder and odd as you go in all directions. Lisa walks up to them. She offers her pipes as she palavers with them. Kayla is eventually ushered in front of Marcus. The great druid remains mobile as ever in its current existence as a tree. In this one-sided conversation, Daphix and Kayla learn about each other as they "speak" to Marcus. 
Scene 4  - Adaline meets with Merrit and Kayla in the Lord's manor. They talk about the incident with tiny Mo'Bahn , which leads to wanting to have a better place to drink. They hatch a scheme to build a speakeasy in the manor itself.
