The Void Heart Troubles

"It is no secret that we are powerful in the Void, if we weren't I doubt we would have survived on our planet for long, but we do not abuse our power. Why? Because even as children we know abuse of power is asking for the Void Heart to consume you."
— The Empty Eye
There are many tales told to young Victracki to help them control their Void powers early in their lives. Most come along side their more practical lessons to help reaffirm what they must do to master their ability to manipulate the molecules around them. Sometimes positive lessons aren't enough, and darker tales must be told to lead them away from abusing their power. The collection of these stories are called the Void Heart Troubles, and they have even begun to spread in areas where Journey to the First sects have made a foothold.

Summary

There are various different tales involving the Void Heart that are told to children in Victracki society, but they all share a similar structure to each other. Each tale generally starts with a young Victracki going about their daily routine, a mention of their Youngling Household is usually brought up during this portion of the story. It is during this portion that the child does something wrong involving their Void powers. This can range from stealing, to creating fake money, some even involve the killing of another Victracki. After this event occurs other Victracki try to correct the child, lead them down a better path, but they don't listen and abuse their powers usually two more times. After the third offense something goes terribly wrong and they can't control their powers anymore which always leads to the Void Heart manifesting and consuming the child in horrific detail.

Woah, spooky.   Since it is implied they are eaten, did witnesses managed to survive and see or draw the beast, or maybe some tried to fake it to give a terrible boogeyman ?   Happy Summercamp!

Since it is a myth it is assumed these are just stories, but the kids don't know that ;P.
