Asa Alora

Asa Alora, the city of the drow, is a fascinating place known for its bustling population and unique relationship with the demiorge. Situated in the Haughtinous Region, Asa Alora is home to a significant drow community. The city's ability to accommodate such a large number of inhabitants is indeed impressive, given its apparent limitations. The drow have managed to create a functional city within the confines of Asa Alora. Despite the challenges posed by the city's size, the drow strive to maintain peace with the demiorge, who likely exert some influence over the region.
Fishing and trading form the backbone of Asa Alora's economy. The drow rely on the abundant resources found in the surrounding waters, making fishing a primary source of sustenance and income for the city. Additionally, Asa Alora serves as a trading hub for goods from faraway lands, enabling the drow to access valuable resources and establish connections with other civilizations in the world. This allows them to maintain the peace with the demiorge as the drow are able to obtain rare things for their neighbors. Asa Alora is known for finding particularly rare items, by what means is unclear. However, if it is hard to come by there is a good chance that the drow can find it; for a price of course. Some suspect piracy to be the reason they are able to obtain such rare items.
Having the demiorge as neighbors has some advantages; they are known for their great strength and rage; as such most opposing forces wouldn't dare to attack the lands. Due to the demiorge's animosity towards the dwarves, there is a trading post just outside the city. This will prevent there being any altercations if a dwarf is visiting the city. There are also warning signs as you leave the city not that they need them; the demiorge's rage is well known in the world of Huberous.
