Southwest Region: Balmali Leafdwellers
The Balal-speaking peoples are split among four tribes, none of which is particularly large by Olma and Cuautil standards, but each of which is fierce and confrontational.
The Jaguar and Piranha tribes terrorise their neighbours in the Balamal river basin area and conduct pirate raids from island bases in the west end of the Iron Chain islands. The Vulture tribe lives in the Olmatic mountains and thieves or scrounges from the Olma communities around it.
The fourth tribe is the Stonedweller tribe (see Southwest Region: Balmali Stonedwellers).
