The Seven Damnations

The seven damnations are taught in every corner of Huggleland. While they aren't "laws" in the traditional sense, they are considered to be a very important guide on what not to do in life. Those who avoid these damnations are more likely to hold positions of honor.

Gluttony

Overindulging in food and drink is bad for the mind, body, and spirit. The youth will have a harder time finding their SpiritMatch and older citizens will find death much sooner than intended. Those who struggle with Gluttony are encouraged to measure out a small amount of food and drink prior to consumption and have the excess removed from their site. If that does not work, it is recommended to go out to sea with limited supplies to learn the value of avoiding gluttony.

Chaos

Causing disorder and confusion is a good way to get the attention of The Scale. It is a waste of time and energy to cause chaos in the world. Those who feel chaotic and seem unable to control it should report themselves to the nearest authorities to be detained until the feeling passes and they are rehabilitated.

Dissonance

Music represents the Harmony that flows throughout Huggleland. Music should be respected and destroying the harmony found in music is a serious matter. Practicing to avoid dissonance is encouraged however, purposeful dissonance while "having fun," "goofing off," or "improvising," is unacceptable. If dissonance occurs often it is recommended to attend the Quokka S.T.A.M.P.D Festival or seek our a teacher of musical theory and practice.

Envy

Feeling jealousy or resentment towards another over something or someone they have is unnecessary in a our great land. Everyone has a proper place and are in charge of their own fate. It is simple to put in the time and effort to obtain the things worth obtaining. If you avoid the seven damnations you will find your spirit match and they will be with you. If they are with another citizen, they are not your spirit match. Those who experience envy need to isolate themselves in a quiet place until they overcome these feelings and realize that what they desire is either not meant for them or can be achieved on their own with some basic effort.

Greed

In such a perfect land of balance, there is no need to hoard resources or power. There is opportunity for all to have their needs and desires met and selfishly keeping everything to yourself is a waste of time. It is also just not very friendly. Those who take their greed too far will be detained and brought to the dungeons of Harmony for rehabilitation. If you fear you are headed down this road, give everything you own away to the kingdom to be used wisely.

Lust

One cannot find their SpiritMatch if you let the physical get in the way. All connections should be based on emotional synchronicity and one must always strive for love in a relationship. Lust simply does not last and can lead to depravity. Citizens must deal with lust on their own as it is not acceptable to discuss with others.

Wrath

Wrath can start with simple temper tantrums and lead to horrendous acts. There is no rhyme or reason for any citizen to experience a level of anger such as wrath. Wrath leads to harming others and destruction of property. Wrath has no place in our great Kingdom and those that embrace wrath cannot be saved. They are best eliminated.

Lady Tharway, known for embracing Wrath and Chaos.
