Huldarn's Corsairs
Huldarn's Corsairs is a Mercenary company that has established an outpost within the walls of "Crossings". Primarily consisting of human infantry with some lighter scout elements of other races.
Led by Earmen Huldarn their numbers typically hold around 15-20 however during successful campaigns or after long periods of gainful employment that number has been known to rise to nearer 40. Earmen will not take any jobs that could result in a weakening of his position within Crossings and typically works for clients further away. He and his soldiers however would side with crossings in any conflict.
They take no active role in policing the town and instead tend to stay within their own compounds located near the western walls.

Upkeep
A small stipend is provided to the Corsairs by The Merchants guild within crossings as an attracting factor in keeping them there. outside of that their income comes in waves with each of its members paying a percentage of their share of a job towards the companies upkeep. This flies in the face of many companies who take a "company share" of the payout before paying its members.
Recruitment
Joining up with the Corsairs requires no previous experience. However, once a person joins the corsairs they are considered to be lifelong members. They can choose to renounce their affiliation, this is a rare occurrence however.
History
Historical loyalties
Typically whoever is far enough from crossings and whose goals do not negatively impact that settlement directly. Outside of that they are typical mercenaries and have a solid repuation
