Frozen Neglect

Frozen Neglect is a celebtration of a expedition guide having made their first successful expedition into The Frozen North. The name symbolizes how the guide neglected the cold, but also how Auril withheld the Kiss of Frost.

Celebration

This celebration doesn't happen very often, so when it happens, it's an extravagent party. Many people of Oghmania gather around at the temple to join in the festivities. If weather permists, they build a large bonfire outside to celebrate and dance around.
A ceremony is held in the temple, with speeches from prominent community members. Most of the time, these speeches are for comedic value, to laugh, ridicule and celebrate the rite of passage. Drinks will be poured, while in the background, many will be busy preparing the feast.
In no-time, the temple will be transformed into a tavern with long tables. The sounds of laughter and conversation will ricochet through the temple walls, becoming a loud cacophony of interactions. This noise will only slightly decrease when plates of whale and seal meat are placed on the tables and the feasting begins.
But none of that is for the one being honored, though. They get to feast on "proper meat, none of that blubber stuff". They will eat premium steak, grilled pork tenderloins and spareribs. For most people, it's a once-in-a-lifetime meal made possible by a community celebrating their current and future achievements.

After the feast, the dancing activities intensifies. It's not uncommon for the celebration to turn into some sort of orgy. As part of the celebration, the guide of honor gets to lay with a number of people, as long as it is consensual. Any residual cold from the expedition will surely be gone as the heat of the party comes to a climax.
