Cephal

One of the five major races of Hybridis. Of the five they're the only one capable of breathing underwater indefinitely. Because of this many settlements are able to have underwater sections if they have a large enough population of cephal.
The cephal have tentacle like limbs, and notably have six arms compared to the two every other race has. They are bipedal like the other races. Each of the arm tentacles ends by splitting into four sections that are arranged and function like a thumb and three fingers. Cephal can change their skin color and even the texture of their skin at will, giving them the most nuanced form of body language amongst the five races.
