R'nehva Tia
R'nehva Tia (a.k.a. Skylord)
R'nehva Tia [pronounced Ruhn-ehva Tea-ah] is a male Miqo'te born to R'datih Nunh and R'fhansu Thek of the Mahakala Raptor tribe. His place of origin is a suspended hunting ground hidden in the thickly forested canopy of the Raincatcher Gully, near Eastern La Noscea. Secluded and protected from the world, R'nehva followed tribal custom preparing for the Sojourn - his peoples' name for the ceremonial journey of a coming-of-age male sent into the wilderness to wander. The Sojourn ends with the Mahakalan finding a female and fulfilling the terms of trial by combat for her hand, which he could start a family and an offshoot of the Mahakala to perpetuate their legacy. The challenging factor for R'nehva is that he possessed an energetic explorer's streak - he wanted to leave to see the world, not to start a new family and carry on the legacy of the Raptor nunhs. Naturally following, once R'nehva managed to leave the pressures of his home life, he found the processes of the Sojourn to be incredibly antiquated. He decided to choose both his circumstances and grant that freedom for anyone would meet along the way. What the Mahakalans failed to recall was their peoples' inherent penchant for freedom, as all Miqo'te are subject to at some point in their lives. Sedentary life is unsuitable to their kin, and the hunt drives all forward to seize destiny on foot. For R'nehva, due to particular circumstances, the nomad within him found expression upon the seas. Most of his time has been spent upon the ocean for extended moons, whether on an adventure or exploit.
Physical Description
Body Features
R'nehva possesses features of a well-traveled sailor in musculature as well as upon the myriad of tattoos that cover most of his visible body. Most markings are tribal, bearing designs significant to his story within the Mahakalans before he ultimately left. From these markings, their lines extend into the more detailed images of animals and symbols of the sailor tradition. He proudly shows off the Eorzean letters "F R E E" inked into the divots of his knuckles, an incredibly painful procedure he underwent with the desire to maintain his awareness of his status away from the culture of his tribe.

R'datih Nunh
R'datih Nunh of the Mahakala tribe is his father, and one of R'nehva's deep hatreds. He holds very little respect in his heart for his father. Asking him at the wrong time might either get an aggressive reply or, should he happen to be deep in his cups, he will end up giving you a highly detailed list of the various reasons why his father should be dead and broadcasted as a nightmare to the world.R'fhansu Thek
R'fhansu Thek is his mother, and one of the people he misses the most. Oft, he finds himself wondering about her safety and status, as the last he saw her before leaving was in the wake of a tragedy involving a rising issue with his father and the tribe. His desire to select Llymlaen as his patron deity was partly within the hope that the goddess could watch over his mother during his absence.Guardians
Jofrid Whiteterne
Though knowing blood relatives, R'nehva would only call Jofrid father as the grizzled Highlander was the first person he interacted with after the strange occurrence that resulted after he left the tribe. This man taught R'nehva all he knew about sailing, standing by his side and supporting him through the rough and enjoyable experiences on the Five Seas. He was the first to take the oath of the Yellowjackets, after Merlwyb outlawed piracy, encouraging the Miqo'te to follow suit. R'nehva struggled in the event of military regulations, often cited for insubordination, as did the crowd of people who tried to make a new life in the massive gap created by illegal piracy. Camp Bearded Rock would be his punishment as a post, and the final assignment he would have before the wake of the Seventh Umbral Calamity. Jofrid, unfortunately, didn't survive.A Miqo'te native to Vylbrand full of himself, he harbors an impressive sailing history and avails these skills in pursuit of expeditions and adventures brought to his attention. Nothing speaks to him more vibrantly than the Five Seas.
