Haa'jiic Food cart
Out of all the inventons and customs of Haa'jiira their traveling food carts must be my favorite. In the crowded busy streets of the bustling cities of Haa'jiira vendors of all sorts call into the rushing crowds to draw in business for their wares. Booths for pots, spices, live animals, and cloth are all crammed onto the same busy street. And in the thick of it are the food carts. There is a cart for every Haa'jiic dish imaginable and quite a few foreign cuisines too.

Frame
The inginuity of the cart owners is evedent in their construction. Metal, wood, and bamboo are all common matirials for the frame of the carts. They will often have simple awnings made from oiled cloth or woven grasses to keep rain and sun of and the miniurture kitchen is a thing of wonder.Food prep and storage
If you have a food cart you need a way to store and cook food, this is done with either covered baskets strapped to the side or boxes underneith the cart. A small portable stove made from lightweight bricks is in every cart. The stoves have two parts, a fire pit where the fuel is burned and a cook top. Cook tops are suited to the type of cooking the cart specialists in, some are merely large flat stone or metal sheets used as a griddle. Some are a small hole that are used to set a pan or pot onto, others still are a clay oven and grill used to fry flatbread and broil fish. Especially elaborate carts may even have multiple cook tops they can remove and use on different days.Honestly though, there is nothing quite like seeing a cart covered in sticky sweet confections role up after a long day. And the smell! There is nothing like the smell of a busy Haa'jiic food alley
