Feylasi
"In their darkest hour, our ancestor's forefathers reached out, and the Bequeather took pity."
The Feylasi, forerunners of the Modern Epoch, are by far the most populous race on Hylos, numbering some four billion strong. They are descended from the ancient Fey, a race of warrior nomads. Before modern history, the Fey expanded across much of Altemos and partially into her neighboring continent to the south. Upon the arrival of the Elders to Hylos, though, the Fey were decimated, cut through, and utterly destroyed. With only thousands of them remaining, the Fey reached out to the Gods, pledging themselves to the Six, and in their mercy Nalis responded, blessing them with the gift of magic. The arrival of the @Naliscintillum revitalized the species and led directly to their transformation into what is now the Feylasi.
Modern Feylasi live in numerous vibrant societies across nearly every continent. They continue to praise the Six as well as their cyclical god Sael Nox, representative of all past, present, and future experiences of the species. Celebrations and festivities echo through massive cities and frontier towns, balanced out with both magic-based and rarely physical labor.
