Ye Ole Gobbly Shoppe

Stixzy

This shoppe and its proprietor travel all over transylvania yet carries with it the essense of the virgin forest the Hoia Forest once was. Now, only the memories of its ancient groves live on as the walls and roof of the shop. Made from the branches of those trees of old, Styxzy is as hardy and true as those forgotten tree had once been.   In the final days of the Hoia's virgin forest, Baba Yaga made herself a second hut, adhering to the tradition of never cutting down a tree, only trimming branches from the ancient trees here and yonder until she had gathered enough. It was difficult and time was against her and what she ended up building was a fanciful hut too small for her comfort. For the longest time, this Hoia hut followed her home hut about and served as a storehouse.   Eventually, Baba Yaga met a goblin named Sliezbykt with an unheard of affliction for a goblin. Out of pity, and a bit of capitalism, she gave him her storage hut which would now serve him as his wandering shop.

How It Works

The shop travels on a very sturdy pair of gaint chicken legs that mysteriously fold out of sight when it settles onto the ground during a stop. Though Styxzy can travel whether its day or night, Sliezbykt takes great care to sneak them about at night. He also sells in the "proper" fashion of opening the shutter boards to sell as though Styxzy was a very well reinforced booth in a marketplace rather than an actual shop. "Security," is always his explanation.

So Many Baubles and Trinkets!!!

Sliezbykt

One day, Baba Yaga was visited by the saddest goblin she had ever encountered, a middle-aged fellow named Sliezbykt. He begged for help from a terrible curse that gave him a fear of heights which kept him from ever climbing the goblin home trees or riding a night-flying messenger bat. Unable to break his curse, Baba Yaga gave him her storage hut with the stipulation that he must serve folks by selling her baubles and trinkets. All he has to do is drop a coin or three from his sales into the slot of a chest in the corner. As long as he does this, new baubles and trinkets will appear for him to sell and the hut, which he has since named Styxzy, will remain his to command.
