Last Stand of Freedom

When King Edward II went to consolidate the World's Armaments and prevent these world altering weapons to be used by anyone at anytime, well he wasn't a king at the time, or at least not yet. Anyway they went their way across the countryside slowly capturing and took down bandits, warlords, and even small towns that wouldn't capitulate. Taking all of their Armaments and putting them where no one could abuse them again. Most people gave up with promises of protection and gifts of wealth until no one would fight against him.   But eventually all the remaining troublemakers banded together to meet King Edward's army head on in a final stand to prevent him from fully taking over. They called it the Last Stand of Freedom in a bid to get everyone who thought the King's demands and actions were unjust to stand beside them. Thankfully most could tell that a lot of the people there's idea of freedom was doing as they please in the worst way possible. There was no defined leader just a bunch of lunatics screaming and launching themselves at the oncoming wall that was the King's honor guard and army.   But they had amassed their own collection of Armaments to match the King's and the clash caused many things that the King was trying to prevent. Mountains raised as valleys rent themselves into the ground. Storms whipped and lakes grew as the armies fought. The army fought as hard as they could and the battle only lasted a day, but in the end the King and his men triumped leaving no prisoners. That area was irrevocably changed by the fight to this day, and the King left it to it self and went to rule the realm as best as he can.
