Nutrient Block

During the King's campaign to collect all of the world's most dangerous Armaments from the world's troublemakers and tyrants he needed something to keep his army going when others would not. Something to give him an edge when supply chains would fail or his enemies would attempt to starve him out. He experimented with all sorts of ways to farm on the go or take only what they needed with them. And he refused to become like the people he was chasing.   Thankfully the King found an Armament that would help him out. A large hammer that can take any food material and crush it into a dense never spoiling block of stuff. You could take one of these blocks and feed double the soldiers you could with normal supplies and for nearly three times the amount of time. This enabled the king to travel further than he should with healthier soldiers. He called the great weapon the Hammer of Plenty and it should still reside somewhere in his great vault.   That being said the block itself isn't the most appetizing thing. It is without exaggeration almost a solid brick in both size and weight making actually carrying it around much harder than normal food though they found a way with a good amount of carts and animals. They are also a dull beige color that makes parts broken off of it look like sand. It tastes a lot like it too. Being more bland than normal army rations isn't great but its nutritional value is real. You could genuienly eat a small corner of this stuff for years and still get the daily amount of vitamins you need for a day. Personally I think the loyalty of the King's army is shown more from them putting up with this food for the entire campaign.
