The House of Joy
Step right up, step right up, one and all to the legendary House of Joy! A place for those of all ages to spend time in wonder and take a breath away form all of the strife of the world.
The House of Joy is a fun house of sorts; brightly colored in yellows, and reds that looks structurally the same as any other neighborhood house in the realms of The King. After paying admission to the cheery man with the bright face paint out front and stepping inside however, that's where the magic happens. The home opens up to be bigger on the inside full of fun carnival rides, and games for everyone. Unlike a normal carnival everything inside is free aside from entry, though winning the games can still be horribly unfair, and they seem to have weird rules about how many attempts you are allowed to take flat out refusing you if you take too many tries. The carnival is patrolled by more brightly face painted men and women who keep the peace and entertain the children.
Despite it's excenttricities the House does seem mostly harmless. It's been around forever and you can count the incidents that have taken place there on one hand. This doesn't stop people from trying to figure out why it does what it does, and if it could have any other alterior motives. For instance The House of Joy has a habit of appearing out of literal nowhere when a place is dismal enough, and needs "Joy". If you travel far enough in The House without being stopped the open spaces of games and rides quickly turn into a winding maze of passageways. Why do some of the employees' smiles seem taught and exaggeratted?
Personally I think anything weird about The House can be pulled off with a large amount of unclaimed Armaments, and they do seem to just want to spread joy for some reason, and there's nothing sinister about that no matter what some people seem to say.
Have you told them about our great deals on weekends?
...No?
You should and we're trying to introduce new and exciting foods to our lineup.

Love the mystery of where the joy comes from and the questions that still remain! I can't wait to read more of your journal ;)
