Auroch

A farmer and rancher's best friend. The Auroch is a versatile creature that can be found in both the wild and in many villages across the Xin Empire. Farmers often use them for their mighty strength to carry large hauls of crops and other various goods whilst the female variety provides healthy milk and beautiful horns used in decoration. Quite easy to domesticate, an Auroch can also be used to guard fellow cattle or precious warehouses and homes. Their intelligence is often misjudged in this manner but with the proper training, they are used as very powerful guards from astray bandits that may wish to rob during late hours of the night. Wild Auroch is a different story. Territorial and ferocious, wild Auroch are known to penetrate and destroy carriages if the exterior designs offend them. They are also known to attack when you approach their land and due to their surprisingly fast land speed common folk rarely survive being gorged by their horns.
