Borgamet - Quillboar

Also known as the Quillboar, the Borgamet are territorial and proud warriors that reside in the base of mountains or the densest portions of rock formations. Their physiology allows them to grow continually into their much later years, with the largest boars rarely seen but often mistaken for monsters due to their towering size. Massive quills around their nape prevent potential predators from simply striking at their weak point, with the smaller quills strewn about their back perfect for rolling aside and disrupting pack hunters that may prey upon them. They are seen as a challenging hunt by the common folk, courageous teens may wander out and seek the largest of their kind as a dare placed by peers although no adult would seriously consider them as a desired mantlepiece due to their appearance being unappealing for decoration. Their quills are very useful in tool construction.
