Qlik

A reptilian creature with an unusual figure. The Qlik is a carnivorous tree-climber that feeds on small birds and insects and rarely conflicts with human activities. Their large gills are water resistant and are often used to make emergency waterskins if a journey becomes too long. Their small retractable claws also allow them to not only climb trees but seriously would any sort of creature unprepared against its hostilities. Despite this, they are docile by nature and some more eccentric folk may keep one as pets, although will find them vanishing for several hours of the day before suddenly returning home.
