Yorick

Found in great packs and said to originate from the merge of two souls within the beast, the Yorick is a variably treated creature that comes in various forms. Many discoveries have yet to understand or know how many tails one can possess, nor what the spiritual significance of each tail means. They do not grow their tails in specific order nor is there a pattern, leading to varying emotional states from Yorick to Yorick. Concrete evidence of their value, however, has been discovered before and recorded in charts and books.
Some Yorick are revered as wise and heroic, while others are hunted down as treacherous, demonic, and cruel. Regardless, they always hunt in healthy packs, led by a Yorick with the most tails. The persona of the pack and all those that reside within it is shaped by this leader.
The tails represent the following:
1st Tail - Ferocious fangs and claws, devastating grasp.
2nd Tail - Possession of greater wisdom, clever and adaptable.
3rd Tail - Unphased by all manner of weather and earth.
4th Tail - Invulnerable to ailments of any kind outside of powerful hexes or curses.
5th Tail - Capabilities to hide themselves by spirit walking or seeing spirits.
6th Tail - Greater endurance, fur soft and strong enough to endure mighty blows.
7th Tail - Possession of various forms of chi-energy, conjuring false fire and spirit orbs.
8th Tail - Possession of greater hunger but also regenerative strength.
9th Tail - Possession of fortune telling, reader of stars and fates.

Yorick
