Appointment

Tifaljan is a rank that is appointed by birth; if someone is a child of either an Aljan or an 'Iiraljan, they will automatically gain this rank unless promoted to the 'Iiraljan rank.

Duties

The duties of a Tifaljan is to do eight large acts that fit under the following categories:

• Life
• Death
• Justice
• Wisdom
• Honesty
• The Arts
• Chaos
• Battle

Length of Term

So far, this title has only been held for 15 years per person, however, it is theoretically possible for someone to hold this rank for their entire lives if they do not fulfill all their duties
