Tallman - Human
Numerous, varied and adaptable, the tallmen are supposedly the newest of the races upon this world, yet they are the most numerous and with remarkable fervor have spread to the furthest corners of the realms. They rose from tribesmen to the self-determined dominant species of this planet in the span of a few thousand years, less than some of the longer lived races lifespans.
Old tomes tell of an old empire, older than every nation that stands upon this world to this very day, speaking of human unification. It's laughable now however, unification, peace, it's all a far cry from the humans I know, their passion is a good thing, certainly, however there quick jumps to conflict between on another and against other have been ongoing from a time before my Great-Great-Great-Great-Great Grandfather lived, and I am certain that one day, my own kin, generations down the line will say such the same.

-Grym Ironeye, Dwarven Scholar
Short-lived compared to the other races, whether that be their individual lifespans or their very existence as a species, humanity has nevertheless risen to prominence in the few years they have had, each of them able to achieve things in a few short years that the elves and dwarves would ruminate on for before even starting by the time the tallmen have completed their task. Perhaps it's because of this that they have caught up and surpassed the other races, spreading across the world, to some, like an infestation.
