Auril, the Frostmaiden

The goddess of winter herself.  She is widely believed by the people of Ten-Towns to be the cause of the everlasting rime, the endless winter that plagues Icewind Dale.  Nobody knows why she is doing it or if it is ever going to end.  Every night she can be seen riding her white roc and casting her spell that prevents the sun from rising.
