Termalaine

While enchantingly picturesque, Termalaine's location makes it bone-chillingly windy, even when it used to see sunlight. In addition to fishers, shipwrights, and scrimshanders, Termalaine is home to miners, though on occasion, trouble from the Underdark causes the mine to be sealed off until a party of sellswords or adventurers can be hired to drive the threat back. Speaker Oarus Masthew is a smart and funny half-orc who won his speakership by a narrow margin. Population is 600, services are mundane, and friendliness and comfort abound despite the wind. It has a dockside tavern, The Blue Clam, and an inn, The Eastside.
