Session 4 - Investigating Targos - Part 2

General Summary

In the morning, the Party answered the summons of Targos Speaker Naerth Maxildanaar at the Luskan Arms.  Naerth was pleasant to the Party (almost condescendingly so), eventually suggesting that the Termalaine Speaker, a half-orc named Oarus Masthew, should be replaced because he is not good for the town.  Naerth has contacts in the military there, including a Lt. Skerrin who is next in line to captain the militia there.  If the Party should travel to Termalaine, Naerth suggested that he would personally appreciate anything they could do to raise Lt. Skerrin's standing there -- including clearing the gem mine of kobolds for a reward of 150 gold pieces.  Separately, he professed that the human sacrifices in Targos are necessary and are the reason things are getting better in Targos.
The Party later visited The Trip & Shuffle where they developed further information and learned various secrets from discussions with Eglath Yeticrusher, a goliath of the rival Akannathi clan, and Russel Knight, the proprietor of The Trip & Shuffle.
Finally, the Party left Targos on the trail of Torrga Icevein and her caravan.  Along the way, they assisted a merchant, Gali Rigges, to get her dog sled, overloaded with knucklehead trout, to Bryn Shander in return for 100 gold pieces.
