Ida: a world where humanity’s future lies hidden within it’s ancient past; a world where magic is science and archeological discovery is technological advancement.   Nearly five thousand years ago the course of human progress was suddenly and radically altered when a three mile wide meteor struck the continent of Xen, annihilating empires, plunging the world into an ice age, and birthing nightmarish creatures from within it’s crater. Humanity endured but at terrible cost. Technology, history, civilization, all reduced to forgotten ruins in the primal struggle for survival. After thousands of years, the ice caps receded, what remained of humanity begin anew in a world littered with the remnants of a shining technologically advanced past long forgotten, and a forbidden continent looming across the sea now filled with monsters guarding the secrets of the most advanced societies the world ever knew. Today, three millennia since the ice age ended, humanity has forged new history, new empires, rediscovered many technologies, but Xen and it’s treasures remained lost... until now.   Welcome to Rookland: the bastion city.
