Vampiric Essence

This potions is amongst the most difficult to brew. Small mistakes can result in a poisonous or just horribly bitter concoction. If brewed correctly, however, this violently sour and vibrant green potion can be lifesaving in the right hands. For 1 minute after drinking it, 1/5th of all piercing, slashing or bludgeoning damage dealt by the drinker is absorbed and used to restore the drinker’s own hitpoints.

Manufacturing process

Step 1: Gather the required ingredients: Bloodroot, Theki Root, and Black Cup Mushroom.
Step 2: Thoroughly clean and wash the Bloodroot, Theki Root, and Black Cup Mushroom to remove any dirt or impurities.
Step 3: In a heat-resistant container or cauldron, combine the cleaned Bloodroot, Theki Root, and Black Cup Mushroom.
Step 4: Add enough water to cover the ingredients in the container.
Step 5: Gently heat the mixture over a low flame, allowing it to simmer for approximately 30-40 minutes. Stir occasionally to ensure the ingredients are well combined.
Step 6: After simmering, remove the container from the heat and let the mixture cool slightly.
Step 7: Using a mortar and pestle, crush the simmered mixture into a smooth paste-like consistency.
Step 8: Transfer the paste into a clean and sterilized glass jar or container for storage.
Step 9: Seal the jar tightly with a lid and store it in a cool, dark place until ready to use.
Step 10: To brew the Vampiric Essence potion, take 1 tablespoon of the paste and mix it with 1 cup of distilled water.
Step 11: Stir the mixture vigorously until the paste is fully dissolved.
Step 12: Filter the solution through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth to remove any solid particles.
Step 13: Transfer the filtered solution into a clean and sterilized glass vial or bottle for storage. The resulting potion is a violently sour and vibrant green liquid.
Step 14: Label the bottle with the name "Vampiric Essence" and include the date of creation.
