Moons

Idur has two moons, Ialda and Shaya, which are used to track the passage of time for months and days. Ialda, the white moon, and its cycle is the reference used for the initial month of a season. Shaya, the blue moon, and its cycle is the reference used for the final month of a season. This paired cycle crafted the current eight month calendar, with thirty days in each month, six days a week for an even two-hundred and forty day year.

Suns

Idur has twin suns that rise and fall together. The orbit that Idur maintains is a skewed oval, causing the final month of its calendar to remain completely dark due to spending time behind a larger distant world blocking out the traditional sunlight it would normally receive.
