Dongrathon, Demon Lord of the Depths

Lilias stood at the edge of the ship. With one hand she slurped down the slimy weed. For a moment it lodged in her throat and she thought she was going to choke. She felt like she was running out of air when she collapsed and fell into the raging sea, the heavy weight being pulled in after her. Plunging into the cold waters she remembered the plant's properties. She had been consumed by the thoughts of her mission.   Now able to breathe she drifted deeper and deeper into the ocean. Lilias lost track of how long she drifted down. The light of the moon had been drowned out quickly after her descent. Her hope was that nothing would come along to eat her before she made it to her destination. Deeper and deeper she sank.   Lilias thought the effect of the weed was going to wear off. In her mind she chanted its name.

She felt its presence reaching out to her. Something moved in the water, but it also didn't move. She could feel the movement of water and also its stillness. Lilias reached out to it, not knowing what would reach back out. It wrapped around her arm and she felt it communicate to her. It did not speak in words, but in images.   She saw a series of images of her sinking but from afar. Many creatures with tentacles surrounded just outside of her sight. Below her was a massive eye with thirteen tentacles surrounding it. It then showed two images simultaneously, one of her being torn to pieces and one of the eye glowing a sickly purple before her own glowed the same color. Lilias understood.   "I wish to serve. Grant me your power so that I may take revenge on the pirates who took my family's lives."   Then in the darkness, she saw the glowing eye. It was difficult to look at. Like it wasn't really there. But she could see it. She felt cracks in her own mind. Lilias felt her emotions begin to split. Pieces of her personality hid in the deepest recesses of her thoughts. They started to speak to her.   She then found herself on the edge of the boat, with the slimy weed in hand and the cannonball she had tied to her ankle. Everything seemed as it was before she leaped with the exception that she was soaked head to toe. Lilias reached out her hand in the direction of a powderkeg. In a tongue she did not know, she snapped her fingers and a fire lit the powderkeg. It exploded, lighting the ship on fire. Sailors ran to put out the flames. She removed the cannonball from her leg and fell back into the sea.
