Flesh Golem

Hudde sat in his lab, needle and thread in hand, working diligently. He had to teach himself how to stitch wounds before taking on this project. After being kicked out of the Academy in the City of Gold Hudde had to move to a small village just to the south of Heartland. Those fools in the Academy were so full of themselves. They dismissed his theories and kicked him out after several requests for his research.
He would prove them all wrong. It was possible to put one's soul into a golem. A perfect body, undying, strong, and no pain. He wanted to put a soul into an Iron Golem but that required the funding for several tons of iron. Even a Clay Golem took a ton of resources. He didn't have the funds for either. He had to resort to creating a Flesh Golem because bodies were at least more available in this area.
In a few places, he had to use cowhide to patch up a few areas. Overall, they were the corpses of deceased people. With a solid shovel and some elbow grease, he got all the parts he needed. Now it was to stitch everything together and perform the ritual. It took several weeks, in secret, of putting together his new body. Hudde finally had all of the pieces for his magnum opus.
The massive body lay on Hudde's floor. Carved on the floor, Hudde laid out an intricate series of concentric circles and runes. He lit several candles and incense at nexus points on the circles. The golem lay at its center. Sitting down next to the circle Hudde began the ritual, filling the air with the mantra. The ritual lasted two hours. Hudde picked up a vial and downed it.
His body convulsed as did the golem's. Hudde collapsed to the floor and the room went silent. The golem stood, looming over Hudde's corpse. It howled in anguish before crashing through the late wizard's wall and escaped the home, running off into the night. Hudde was declared dead.

Utility

Flesh Golems are normally unintelligent constructs that follow their master's commands. They are useful for heavy lifting and defense while being cheaper than other golems.

Access & Availability

Creating a Flesh Golem is not an easy thing to create as it requires extensive knowledge of the body. The ritual to create a Flesh Golem can be found in a book that is incredibly elaborate.
