Mythic Millenia

The "Mythic Millenia" is what the time before the Age of Desolation and the subsequent withering of mortal ability is commonly called. Not much is known from those times, except that the gods, allegedly, roamed the world alongside the mortals and the limits what one could achieve were almost non-existent. We have not much remaining from those time, except stories and legends, myths as it were. A handfull of artifacts has survived too, though no regular person (and even an illustrious and highly acclaimed scholar) could even harbor the hopes of ever studying such unfathomably important objects. The myths tell us of mortals freely parleying with the gods and using magic, which today appears almost incomprehensible advanced and powerful. It must have been a sight to behold, people shaping the world around them as they saw fit, raising entire kingdoms out of the ground and continents out of the ocean. Sadly though, they are only myths and therefore their truthfulness has to be called into doubt. We simply do not know anything about those glory days.
Addendum: This article is conjecture. We truly can not know the actual state of things back then, due to the extreme losses during the Age of Desolation. The very little that we can tell is, that the people back in those times truly were more powerful on average and that magic was less restricted. Apologies for having to disappoint in this regard.
