Embers Beyond The Worlds Edge
And that was the day the New Souls ventured beyond their known world to finally explore what the lands had to offer. They would come to know ferocious beasts, harmless ones, brutal, creepy, useful, mysterious ones. They would find blooming plants, mundane ones, shiny, dull, magical, revolutionary ones. And all of this gathered in one place, the Fog beyond the safety of the Worlds Border.
Areas of Expansion
From that day onward did the souls sign a contract. A pledge to uncover that mysterious place and find what wants not to be found. On this parchment, a truce was established, to document the happenings, sightings and knowledge gained from that place, from that point onwards forevermore. Botanists, Beastiarians and Soulweavers alike would help this new world to soar to new heights through their sacrifices in both the art of war and hand. New icons would be forged, new souls would rise to fame and glory. Of these stories, A Tale of Beginnings will tell. The Pledge
Probable Findings
We won't know for sure until we see for ourselves, yet with our educated guesses, we imagine finding a multitude of predatorial monsters. We will try to not only focus on them however, since we aren't just surrounded by death and destruction, but helpful or maybe just cute and fascinating wildlife. As for flora, the magical is where it is at. We will look for the useful, wondrous, dangerous, thoughtloosing or just plain tasty plants that are out there. There is so much untapped potential in this new world of fog, we can not wait to uncover it all!Authors Notes: I've created a Worldember Article Roadmap in which I have already detailed a few articles I definitely want to touch upon!
Oh flora and fauna in your world, this sounds great and I'm really looking forward, what creepy crazy plants and animals you'll create and tell during Worldember.
I kinda gave myself a little out, saying "and the stories they tell" so i can write about famous botanists and such related to nature
Oops sorry, but I was referring to your quote and your pledge. But your previous articles from the perspective of researchers and adventurers looking for cures and other things were just as interesting and I look forward to getting to know more of these professions such as botanists. Psst, maybe that means some plants and animals too, right?
oh, I think I mistyped xD. The main focus of articles I'll write are going to be animals and plants still :D. But as to give me some more leeway, I added the little "and the stories they tell". So yes, there will be LOADS of plants and animals to look forward to!
