Finally, after almost one and a half years we were able to draw out every last magical current from the tears and creating this legendary and unique magical trinket. For the future of Ignotas, here is how it works:

A Tragic Story

The Spirit Queen is a horrible beast located in the outermost parts of the Foreverglade. It controls its own territory, in the middle of which stands her lair with the tree grown from the corpse of her deceased husband. That tree cries tears of wisdom, reminding the queen of how she could have saved her beloved back in the day, how miserable she is right now, and what could have been in the future. Although the queen is in mourning forever, she refuses to leave his side, harnessing the magical powers of his tears to grow stronger every day using the visions granted to her, no matter how soul crushing they are to her.

How To Cheat Destiny

After our fight with the Spirit Queen, and barely escaping with our lives and five small droplets, we got to work researching. We found out a single droplet could either show a vision of the past, present or future, but be consumed after. There are no limits to the time, place, people involved or subject dicussed. As long as the caster asked, the vision is shown.

The Finished Product

Since we found out the tear is actually a three part magical droplet, we were able to split it into three, giving three charges per droplet to the staff, one for each time period. With only two droplets left however, the staff only has a very limited amount of charges. Coming across more tears is a rarity in itself, since we only have a handful of Souls that could stand a chance against the queen.

Gameplay Stats

The Staff of the Spirit Queen is a very rare staff that, once attuned, becomes a +3 arcane focus and lets the caster create visions of the past, present and future as an action. There is no limit on time, place, people or subject. The visions of the future can be averted once seen.

The Staff has three charges, one per time period. They recharge after using a "Tear of the Spirit Tree"-Component that can either be bought at a high price or harvested at the lair of the Spirit Queen, north of the Foreverglade Worlds Edge.
