Timekeeper

Tick, tick, tick, tick, all this ticking! That sound will drive you insane. It will only stop once its hand hits 12, sealing your fate, or its host breaths its last breath. And even if you live on, you will forever remember the ticking timebomb creeping ever closer to your demise.
— In person Slaying Raid Report

A Deadly Countdown

As the Scouts reported already, the Timekeepers, or Clockworkers as some call them, have fun hunting their prey. They carry selfmade pocket watches counting down towards your death, and you will die once that hand hits twelve.

Hunting Excitement

We don't know how strong exactly the Timekeepers are. We do know that they love their game so much that they will risk their lives to honor the rules. As long as the timer does not hit twelve, they will play around while fighting, even if it means dying in the process. So the only chance to escape with your life is to kill them before they are allowed to get serious.

Physical Appearance

These monsters are humanoid by nature, yet behave like feral beasts. Those that ambushed us were clad in ripped apart dark suits. Their face is masked or painted over, anyways they don't look real aside from their very real and bone chilling exited expression during the hunt.

Appendix #1: Report of Survivor Melanie Steph Gatway

We took this job knowing what we would get ourselves into. We knew the deadly game they were playing, we knew their rules we knew all of it, we just didn't follow them.
The first rule... Always chase the prey... Our Slaughterer thought he could combat that rule by stopping to run. He died first... just collapsed, no blood, nothing.
Second Rule, never stay quiet... Our Soulweaver thought she could shut them up and iend some sort of spell... She died next.
Third simple and last rule.... once the clock hits 12, you're dead. Our Beastiarian knew that, yet he died not a second too early or too late.
How I got out of it? I ran into Ravensight, they said they saw its mask slip briefly before wanting to swallow me whole, but they were able to kill it in a split second before it could.

How They Kill

I frankly don't know, or rather I don't know for certain. The Ravensight Cullslinger incident was the first one where people were able to live past twelve. We know that the Timekeepers can either let their prey drop dead at will, stopping their hearts, or feed away at their prey, like they tried to do with Melanie.

Research on Perished Bodies

With the incident, we were able to retriee confirmed kills from a Timekeeper, revealing that the swift end to their lives might not have been so swift after all. Brain wave activities similar to nightmares were detected hours after their proposed death, suggesting that after the kill, they lived through something while on their way to their final resting place.
