Syreprex

The Syreprex descended from the ancient reptilian rulers of the Arcean continent, returned to existence by a pompous wizard looking for an exotic animal to fill their gardens. Some of the Syreprex escaped, running wild in the Arcean Wastes. They have since acclimated to this bizarre clime, and appear to be in something of a symbiotic relationship with the Rotbloom.
