Village leader appointed by the villagers. Village based decisions largely made via village meetings and the final word goes to the village leader. Ruled by the Supreme Council of Cleroy

Defences

Village defenses are almost non-existent. Reliance on the Cleroy forces for defense against large scale warfare.

Industry & Trade

While the population of Melar is very small, it enjoys a fairly comfortable economy from selling goods to travelers passing through. The village's only tavern, The Viridian Flask makes a roaring trade particularly in the summer months.

Infrastructure

Being the crossroads for multiple travel routes, the roads are well made in Melar and the village has a lovely central courtyard where peddlars offer their wares to passing travelers. A large retaining wall along the coast protects the town from flooding during rainy season.

Geography

Coastal village next to the Luth Sea. Built above a large retaining wall to protect it from the higher tides of the sea, especially during the rainy season.
