Fate Proposals

Fate proposals are a cultural tradition in Drannith, involving the presentation of a small crystal to a target of affection, which is in turn either accepted or rejected. In the event of an acceptance, the crystal is carved into two separate pieces of the same whole, that carry symbols of who the Fated are as people, and their lives together. Fate proposals are only legal in Drannith at the turning of age 19 onwards.
