Indatha

Indatha consists of swampy pools within lowland plains, dotted with the uniquely shaped helica trees native to the region. The faint glow of its sickly green-white crystals, along with bioluminescent creatures make its pitch black nights something of a light show. The ground here is choked with death and decay. The dominant clade of Indatha is nightmares, strange, sinewy creatures that subsist almost entirely on flesh and blood, as well as being home to the death-dwelling Apex monster Nethroi. Many generations ago there existed a settlement within Indatha known as Orn. The city employed the use of trained bioluminescent monsters to keep them safe in the pitch black nights of Indatha, but one fateful night, their bioluminescent companions did not arrive, and the city was attacked under cover of these darkest nights, killing almost every person in the city. Very few escaped, using a quickly crafted hot air balloon, and their descendants went on to form the floating city of Skysail. The frondlands in Indatha's south are said to be home to Nethroi, an Apex monster with the ability to raise dead monsters and consume souls.
