Session 12 - Back to the Board

General Summary

• The party heads to the Burmery notice board
• They want to explore the defecating dog posting but decide against it because there isn't really a way to make money
• Plan to buy an excess mule and sell it to Andurs for his field in exchange for investigating the mysterious tunnels
• Lerissa and Olut speak in private
• Party reaches stable, meet a half-orc and buy a mule off him
• Liber tries to get Haeni to pay, but Olut stops him
• Lerissa speaks with animals and asks the donkey his name (Geph), and tells him that he's going to work
• Prince and Liber spend some time discussing Lerissa's powers with her
• Arrive at farm and give Andurs the donkey
• Andurs asks if they want money or to explore the cave, they decide cave
• Haeni draws up a contract that they sign
• Head into tunnel
• See stone, dug through by some sort of beast
• Feel a rumble in the ground getting stronger and louder
• Circle up to defend
• Fight!
• Beast grabs Liber and runs
• Rocks fall from the cave ceiling
• Beast is wounded, escapes
• Skills Challenge to flee the cave\
• On the way out, Prince snipes the bullette through a passage
• Make it to the surface and the ground collapses, party buried to their waists
• Andurs and Geph watch the party clamber out of the ground
• Party returns to Beggar's Dog for rest before heading to the Meadery to pick up their next job
