Kingdom of Cadrin

The fertile farmlands of Cadrin are well-regarded in producing the best and freshest produce in Ilela. Traditions run strong in Cadrin, and longstanding family lines are known within different provinces. Each of the provinces in the kingdom operate under a pseudo-feudalistic system but follow the overall ruling of the King or Queen. The last King of Cadrin was King Miraberos.
There was a strong religious presence in Cadrin, primarily dedicated to the goddess of the sun, but despite the strong traditions and dedicated faithful followings, greed grew among the few noble families, with corruption and nepotism taking root that eventually led to an invasion of dragons. It is unknown where the dragons originally came from, led by the queen of the High Dragons, Tiamat.
Little is known of any lands to the east of Cadrin beyond the Calwyn Sea, other than the lands historically belong to the Frostborne, leading to numerous accounts of border clashes along the Northern reaches of Cadrin. Racial tensions began to ease when King Miraberos married a woman of Frostborne descent, but it would take more than a few years to undo the years of conflict that had brewed between them.
During the calamity, led by Tiamat, a host of dragons captured the capital city of Anamor where the Royal Family resided during most of the year. They were able to slay King Miraberos and take his spot in the castle, while the others brought devastation down upon the innocent farmers and villagefolk in the countryside.
