Ros', Smithy and Armorer
The "Nurse Joy' Effect
Ilhacia is full of strange beasts and creatures founding the wildlands, but some oddities can be found within the people of Ilhacia. One such oddity is what is known as the "Nurse Joy" effect. There are certain folks wandering Ilhacia that have doppelgangers all over the world. While no one alive really knows how this occurred, these folks tend to certain jobs and characteristics that tie them together beyond being identical. While all of them can trace their lineages back to the main family line, when they mate with any other race or gender, the offspring will always come out identical. Some theorize that the family was cursed by an ArchFae or maybe dabbled in dark magic only the original family holds the origin of this doppelganger phenomenon. All of them are considered by the majority of the populous to be a strange combination of a Fae race and humanoid race that was cursed due to the blasphemy of the mating of these races, though the work these families tend to do have endeared them to the popular minimizing the racist stigma that plagued them in the earlier years of the current era. These families are also thought to be the oldest in Ilhacia, claiming to even be around from the time before the Three KingsThe Ros' Family
specializes in metalworking, particularly in forging weapons and armor. These smithies are known for forging their own metals in a uniquely durable way, making their creations some of the finest quality in Ilhacia. Woe to those who underestimate the Ros' family as they are known for being short-tempered despite their stature. The Ros' family enjoy the creationism in metalworking, often being more than willing, even excited about custom-made weapons and armors. They have built friendly relations all over Ilhacia, especially with local mages allowing them to enlist their help with enchantments. Ros' smithy is known for taking in other craftsmen and mentoring them in the process, creating many skilled smithies that have been known to open other shops within the town. Though the competition is quite welcome to the Ros' family, allowing them to take on the more complicated projects while directing the simple metalwork orders to their mentees. The Ros' family line is matriarchal, causing the doppelganger effect only in females. These women stand about 4'10" tall and have a wide and muscular build. Their dark brown, nearly black hair may be done up in varying ways and cut at different lengths, but the piercing dark green eyes, strong chin, and pointed elven ears are characteristic of the family. You can find this familiar face in nearly every city at the smithy.
