Fungal Musk Ox

Larger and having much thicker hair than a typical Musk Ox, these creatures came about within the last 500 years due to adaptation to the Dead Lands. Though they still possess many of the qualities of a typical Musk Ox, these creatures have a mycelium network going through their thick hair and the top layer of their skin. This causes a wide variety of fungus to grow off of their bodies.

The larger fungi growing off of them, can be harvested or consumed without any harm coming to the creature. Often, this quality fosters symbiotic relationships between Fungal Musk Ox and small, fungi consuming creatures that can help keep the Ox's hairs from knotting and remove bacteria that often can find its way onto the Ox.

They only appear in the Dead Lands and Rokkurveldi. They are often nicknamed "Shroomfalo" for their appearance.
