Fjardileth

Fjardileth is the only northern city under the control of the Council of Yggdrasil, and it has the stability and prowess to show it. It was originally designed as a military post for the Landguard, Yggdrasil's most elite forces sent to find peace in this unstable land. As local tribes discovered it, the soldiers decided it best to make their barracks a sanctuary as well, a peaceful land where anyone can meet and no blood is to be shed. This controversial decision has made Fjardileth the only peaceful place for hundreds of miles. Still, the city's leader, a man known to most as the Crow Lord, finds ways to maintain his strong, militaristic control over the area when he needs to.
