Giant's Stone

Much like the nearby town of Giant's Bridge, Giant's Palm is built around an ancient structure of unknown origin. At the center of this small, modest village lies a large stone covered in runic etchings, the meanings of which no one seems to know. The village remains mostly unaffected by the economics of Belaklara, almost like a place frozen in time. Visitors often remark on the surreal beauty of the Giant's Stone, but few study it for long before they're back on the road. 
This stone, and the bridge to the south, hint towards a great society that once ruled this land before Belaklara came to be. But this is only a rumor, one that doesn't seem to concern most travelers.
